Organised by the SIEPPUR project partners and co-funded by the European Commission, the Sustainable Snow Summit will bring together leading snow experts as they discuss sustainable snow management strategies and good practice from venues across Europe – from production, storage, transport, grooming to handling.
Midway through the SIEPPUR research project, the virtual Summit will provide an opportunity for all those involved in the snow sport industry, from snow resort managers, snow sport federations, venue owners, municipalities, snow management experts, operational staff and scientists to learn and exchange on the topic of sustainable snow management.
The Summit will discuss the current state of sustainable snow management in Europe, with selected case studies and good practices identified through the project invited to present their activities. A panel will be held on good governance within snow management, recognising the diversity of approaches with private and public sector involvement as well as that of international and national sports federations.
Registration is free and open to all those interested in sustainable snow management. You are invited to register here.
